12.2.4 Configuring Broadcast Settings
Purpose
To configure IP broadcast settings.
Commands
The commands needed to configure IP broadcast settings are listed below and described in the
associated section as shown:
• ip directed-broadcast (Section 12.2.4.1)
• ip helper-address (Section 12.2.4.3)
• ip forward-protocol (Section 12.2.4.2)
12.2.4.1 ip directed-broadcast
Use this command to enable or disable IP directed broadcasts on an interface.
ip directed-broadcast
Syntax Description
None.
Command Syntax of the “no” Form
The “no” form of this command disables IP directed broadcast globally:
no ip directed-broadcast
